Everyone should be able to use specialreceiving.living, including people with disabilities. Specialreceiving Septic wrote this statement to show how we think about that. It is a general template, not legal advice.

Our Goal

We want this website to work for as many people as possible. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, a widely used standard for accessible sites.

Steps We Take

To support that goal, we aim to:

• Use clear headings and a sensible page order
• Add text descriptions to images that carry meaning
• Keep text easy to read with strong color contrast
• Allow the whole site to be used with a keyboard alone
• Build pages that work on phones, tablets and computers
• Write in plain, simple language
• Label form fields clearly

Where We Fall Short

Some parts of the site may not fully meet these standards yet. Material from third parties, such as embedded tools, may be outside our control. We check the site from time to time and fix problems as we find them.
